Virtual Art Gallery 2021For the second year in a row, the Young Artist’s Conference is a virtual experience for students and their families. A Virtual Art Gallery exhibiting their work is now live. The artwork in the Young Artist’s Curated Gallery 2021 has been created by students across the district.
Some artwork is being showcased at 5 Bean Café at the Columbia Place Shopping Centre, with themes and pieces changing every two weeks.

Catchment Boundaries Consultations   The Kamloops-Thompson Board of Education is serving notice of four proposed catchment boundary changes and the re-opening of a school being considered for September, 2022.
In order to manage enrolment levels, District staff is recommending to the Board of Education that a change be made to catchment areas for Aberdeen/Pacific Way, Sa-Hali/SKSS, Dallas/RL Clemitson, Juniper Ridge/Marion Schilling, and the reopening of Ralph Bell Elementary School.

Flags are at half-mast to honour Prince PhilipPursuant to the  British Columbia policy for Half-masting (Section 12) , the Canadian flag on all British Columbia government buildings and establishments across the province will be flown at half-mast from now (April 9, 2021) until sunset on the day of the funeral and memorial service (to be determined) to acknowledge death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh. Superintendents are asked to have all schools lower their flags to mark this occasion as well.
